About Me:
I have served as an educator and coach for 13 years in both the public and private settings alike. Public stints include Cobb and Bartow County and ECA in the private setting.  Along with my History/Political Science degree, I also hold AP US History and Gifted Endorsement Certification as well. My coaching career began after my collegiate career ended at my Alma Mater, Shorter College and also includes Lagrange College, North Cobb HS, North Atlanta HS, ECA, Cass HS and Woodland HS.

In addition to teaching, I am the Assistant Coach for Varsity Baseball WHS and Head Coach for boys' basketball at WMS.

"To train a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he, will not depart from it"- Proverbs 22:6. Leaning on that scripture, I became a teacher to help prepare students to become successful not only in education but life as well. I strive to do this using life lessons and core values along with academic standards to prepare students for life's challenges and create productive citizens with a strong moral compass to impact society in an positive light.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, kayaking, hiking, farming, playing with my short-haired pointers and riding horses (all with my daughter).
