About Me:
I started my teaching career as a Head Start teacher in Oklahoma. I moved to Atlanta and began teaching Social Studies in DeKalb County. In 2002, I transferred to Adairsville Middle. While at AMS, I taught the Reading Enrichment Class and ESOL Social Studies. This year, I transferred to Woodland Middles School to be the Instructional Lead Teacher.

I became a teacher because I was lucky enough to have a teacher who had a positive impacted on my life. She inspired me to seek a career where, I too, could make a difference in the lives of others.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time on the water with Johnathon (son) and Shane (husband). The three of us enjoy wakeboarding and wake-surfing. Actually, I spend more time watching Johnathon wakeboard.
