About Me:
I started my teaching career at St. Therese Catholic School. I taught Physical Education - grades 1-8; Reading 7-8; Health 7-8; and Science 5-8. I coached the 7th grade and 8th grade basketball teams. During this time I was the JV baseball coach and assistant varsity football coach at St. Joseph High School. After 6 years I started teaching and coaching at Carthage College. I taught Concept of Fitness, Walking for Fitness, and Archery classes. I was the assistant baseball coach and head women's golf coach. In addition, I was an athletic recruiter for the athletic department. I was at Carthage College 17 years before coming to Woodland Middle.
I am the Head Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach at WMS.
As a child I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and a coach. When I had the opportunity to study to become a teacher and a coach, I felt privileged to do so. I had great experiences during my involvement in sports during my childhood, and I wanted to experience things that my coaches and teachers did.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching Badger football and basketball and hanging out with my dog TAZ.
